Straight answers about the philosophy, the products, and how AFOLAOLA actually works.
It's the standard behind every decision we make — what we build, what we don't build, and how carefully we treat the parts of your life our software touches. You'll see it applied concretely in The AFOLAOLA Standard: real problems, real simplicity, real ownership of your own data.
We don't rule anything out, and we don't announce anything early. If AI ever shows up in an AFOLAOLA product, it will be in service of the same standard as everything else we build — not as a feature added because it's trending.
It depends on the product. OlaPurse works without an account, with local-first storage on your device. Products that run a business, such as OlaOrder (and OlaInventory and OlaMaintain when they launch), need a login for the person running it; customers buying from an OlaOrder storefront don't need an account. Wherever an account exists, it exists to serve you, and you can export your data or delete the account.
It leaves with you. Every AFOLAOLA product supports exporting your data in open formats — CSV, PDF, or JSON — on your terms, whenever you decide. We don't lock you in by making your own data hard to take with you.
Through straightforward pricing — free tiers that stay free, and optional paid tiers for people or organizations who want more. No ads, no data brokering, no bait-and-switch once you're relying on a product.
OlaHours is a free work-hours and pay-period tracker at hours.afolaola.com. You log the hours you work, group them into pay periods, and keep your records. It installs like an app and works offline. Your records are kept on your own device, and the app uses no analytics. An account is optional and only needed if you want to sync across devices; synced copies are held by the sync service and are not end-to-end encrypted, and the app asks for your consent before anything is uploaded. Every earnings figure is an estimate from what you enter, not a payslip or payroll advice.
OlaRemote is a free TV remote app for Android phones, with no ads and no account. It is not on Google Play yet, so you install it directly from remote.afolaola.com, which walks you through it in about two minutes. It has been tested on a Roku TV; other TV brands are still being tested, and the site says plainly which ones are confirmed.
They're in active development, built to the same standard as OlaPurse, OlaTime, and OlaOrder. We don't publish launch dates — we'd rather ship each one properly than rush it to hit an announced deadline. When either is ready, it'll appear here as "Live" instead of "Coming Soon."
Likely, over time — but only where the same standard clearly applies. See our roadmap direction for the domains we think this naturally extends toward, none of which are commitments with dates attached.
Reach out through our contact page. We work with a small number of organizations as early users of OlaPurse, OlaTime, and OlaOrder, and we're always open to hearing from teams who share the same standard — including as early testers once OlaInventory or OlaMaintain are ready.
Our Press & Brand page has logos, color values, and a short company description you're welcome to use when writing about us.
